Within the context of the commemoration of the centenary of the passing away of Gauguin, the museum of art in Quimper (musée des Beaux-Arts, Quimper) and the museum of Luxembourg in Paris have decided to join efforts in order to organize the most ambitious exposition ever consecrated to Gauguin and the famous « School of Pont-Aven ».

Around the fort representative center of the painters Gauguin, Bernard and Sérusier, the exposition also presents the very significative works of painters of the same school, such as Moret, Maufra, de Haan, Filiger, Delavallée, O’Conor, Slewinski, etc.
